How to Tell the Difference Between Locations
Well, we definitely don't recommend standing naked on your front porch, regardless of where you live. That's because you probably value your privacy, but it can help you figure out if you're in an urban, suburban, or rural location. The person who shared this presentation to both an audience and the internet figured out a simple way to help people figure out where or how they might be living, and it really is humorous.
This presenter managed to apply just a bit of their own funny logic when it came to explaining the difference between urban, Suburban, and Rural living, and truthfully- it's genius.
A Statement That Many Would Agree With
If the man standing on this stage is a professor, well, he certainly managed to capture his students' attention with the first slide of this presentation. The point of this likely is to talk about optimizing search engines, which has nothing to do with murder, but the analogy is perfect. So, if you're the kind of person who makes it to the second page of a google search results- let us know what you find.
It's true; not many of us actually make it to the second page of Google search results, so anything could be on there, like the location of a hidden body.
An Accurate Evolution of the Digital Age
If you grew up in the late 90s, your parents probably insisted on never getting into a stranger's car and avoiding the internet at all costs just to ensure your general safety. Funny enough, this is something we do all the time now, and it's become super convenient. There's truly nothing better than opening an app and summoning a driver to come to pick you up and drop you off wherever you need to go.
It's true that ride-sharing or car-ordering services are entirely internet based and can be done with a single tap on a screen. This definitely couldn't have worked in the late 90s.
A Very Important Instructional Meeting
If you couldn't tell, the star of this presentation is a pretty grey cat named Olive, who unfortunately had to endure the experience of a bath before having her face on the big screen. Cats really are clean animals and don't often need to be bathed, but when they do, it can certainly be a battle. That's why this presenter chose to share step-by-step instructions on how to get the job done with ease.
The person living across from this exact building just had to join the very important meeting, from a distance, especially since bathing a cat is something that is nearly impossible.
An International Law Lecture of Pure Honesty
This slide has no helpful information, and this presenter applied just a touch of dry creativity to fill in the blanks. This move was guaranteed to make his students who were taking a difficult class laugh a bit after a long school day. Also, we're guessing that this professor had no problems when it came to grabbing the attention of his classroom at this specific moment, and you can probably see why.
Not all presentation slides are helpful, and this professional wasn't afraid to tell his students that while also having a bit of fun along the way, just because he could.
A Chemistry Teacher With a Degree in Comedy
There's no denying that Chemistry can be boring sometimes, so this professor spiced their lecture up a little by rearranging the table of elements as if Lady Gaga took over the lesson. This was a genius move, and you might wish you were in this class, too, just because of the comedic creativity. Also, we wouldn't be surprised to hear that this isn't the only fun presentation the professor came up with.
It might have seemed like Lady Gaga stepped into this chemistry lecture when this professor decide to have some fun while teaching their students the table of elements.
How Today's Class Slide Broke Down Big Data
It looks like this presenter wanted to find an innovative way to break down their explanation of big data, and somehow, it's entirely true. Some presentations focus on comedy, while others state the facts, which is where this one lies. Although we do have to admit that we're not entirely sure about the definition of big data after reading this slide, surely, the class now has an understanding that's clearer than ours.
Not many people would connect big data to whatever teenagers are doing in the bedroom, and that's because most people don't even want to consider the thought, but honestly, this slide makes sense.
This Teacher Assigned Some Hilarious Homework
It might be hard to master kung fu or end world hunger within seven days, but hey- never say never. This teacher couldn't think of anything class-related to assign for homework, so they decided to write down more essential things. That would be using conditioner first instead of shampooing or defeating your own worst enemy. This teacher might not be graded, but we would assign them a fine A+ for pure creativity.
Homework isn't great, and leaving class knowing you have a ton of things to do before the next one can certainly ruin a day, so this teacher made it fun.
These Girls Made a Presentation of Nelson Mandela
If you suddenly realize that the person you're looking at here isn't Nelson Mandella- you're right because that's Morgan Freeman. Although he's also pretty iconic himself, Freeman isn't precisely the activist this presentation is based on. Although, we do slightly see the resemblance, even though the whole point of this mistake was to cause a couple of laughs or two from whoever was sitting and watching- which was likely successful from slide number one.
Nelson Mandela is iconic and deserves to be featured in his own presentation. We're just genuinely interested to know what came after this first slide- because that's not Nelson Mandela.
When Last Night's Video Accidently Popped up
Someone was about to start a presentation as lots of people were sitting in the audience, but their adult video accidentally started playing in front of everyone watching. To make matters worse, it seems like this event was an important one- based on the 150-year commemoration signs sitting beside the screen. Needless to say, this was a hysterically awkward moment for everyone involved, and chances are- this is going to be a permanent memory.
Well, this just might be every presenter's worst nightmare, especially since not many people want last night's private affairs to suddenly play in front of about a hundred different people.
How a Physics Teacher Explained Liquids
The truth is, we can certainly confirm that cats are liquid, and the explanation this physics teacher provided says it all. Of course, liquids do take the shape of containers without changing their volume, and cats basically do the same thing. If you've never seen a cat magically change its form as it squeezes into a bowl, this picture that the presenter provide genuinely is a picture-perfect example of the very adorable phenomenon.
There really isn't anything wrong with this explanation since cats really do seem to somehow morph into a liquid form, depending on whichever tiny object they decide to squeeze into.
They Forgot to Change Their Names Before Submission
It happens all the time- you double-check our work, maybe even glance over it for a third time, and eventually submit it, only to realize you missed one tiny mistake. In this case, the mistake was at least a funny one, and it definitely didn't cause any grade deductions. Although it seems like the accredited names are the start of a modern-day rap song, the teacher probably figured out the actual authors of the project eventually.
It's possible that their teacher didn't even realize the hysterical names that were written on the first slide, or maybe he did because it's kind of hard to miss at that point.
This Slide Truly Guaranteed a Good Class
This Informatics professor wanted to let their students know that they genuinely understand college students' language better than anyone, so much so that they even provided an exact translation. Chances are, most students won't actually email a teacher in this way, but some would indeed send something close to it. This presentation definitely delivered the message to those students in an efficient manner while also making everyone laugh at the same time.
Some university professors like to start their classes off with a heavy amount of boring information, while others just want to have some fun with the little time they have.
A Hidden Famous Image That Nobody Can Notice
The person presenting this slide wanted to have some fun with the audience, so they silently slid in an image of Steve Buscemi alongside all of the other ones. They were interested to see if anyone watching would notice that the image was actually of a famous person and had nothing to do with the topic. Of course, this was probably a job well done since it's actually really hard to catch.
Somehow, this headshot of Steven Buscemi perfectly blends in with all the other images on this slide, but Steve might not be too happy if he heard about this placement.
An Opening Slide About Abnormal Psychology Behaviors
A psychology professor was about to start their lecture about abnormal behaviors, and they immediately captured everyone's attention with the first slide. That's because Winnie The Poo is known for his light-hearted and fun characteristics, but somewhere out there, a very artistic person painted poor Winnie at his worst. This professor snatched the image up and thought it would be a perfect start to his lecture, and you can likely see why he started with it.
This moment seems like it was captured just seconds after Winnie The Poo went on a wild rampage, which really does work well with the topic of this entire presentation.
A Presenter Who Blended in Too Well
Blending in when doing a presentation might not be a bad thing because most people don't want to stand out too much when talking in front of a class. This guy just took blending to a whole new level, and it was definitely on accident. Chances are, this guy was much more visible to the people sitting in front of him than he was on camera, but he somehow ended up mastering invisibility.
It kind of looks like a ghost walked into class wearing nothing but its pants just to give a quick presentation before going back to doing whatever ghosts usually do.
She Stumbled Upon A Student Who Loves Dragons
This student loves dragons and wasn't afraid to tell their teacher why. The student is proud of being Scandinavian and feels like loving dragons is a part of that. Also, they did an excellent job of putting a picture of Toothless in the corner since there is no cuter dragon than him. They'll grow up one day and realize they're not a Viking, but this presentation will forever be iconic.
Dragons might not actually be animals that exist, but they are pretty cute, so we can't judge this kid for getting into their Scandinavian heritage as much as they did.
A Very Unfortunate Placement of a Chair's Reflection
The chairs in this room made this man's presentation a lot more embarrassing than it had to be in the first place, but he managed to play it cool. What looks like a stain on his pants is nothing more than some shadow work, but it could be hard to come to that conclusion. Thankfully, it's been confirmed that the outline on his pants had nothing to do with public speaking nerves.
We're wondering if the photographer told this presenter about the unfortunately placed shadow before or after this image was taken, mostly because he just seems way too happy about it.
This Presentation Was All About Relative Dating
This teacher wanted everyone to know that his topic on relative dating has nothing to do with the Alabama kind of dating, even though the thought probably didn't come to mind for anyone in the room. Even though dating in the family isn't typically taught in classrooms, he wanted to slip a quick joke into the presentation before getting onto the lesson. Hopefully, the rest of the topic was as entertaining as the first slide.
Fortunately, relative dating is all bout science, and this professor was just confirming that it has nothing to do with involving your relatives in your love life.
A Physics Teacher Who Doesn't Like Justin Bieber
What could have been a simple math equation here turned into a high-speed action movie scene involving Justin Beiber and lots of fire. You can probably tell by now that this teacher doesn't like the famous pop singer too much and thought he would fit well within this math equation. It's not that he had to be added in; it's more about wanting to add him just because they could.
There are lots of people who don't like Justin Bieber for a variety of reasons, and this Physics teacher made it loud and clear that they are one of those people.
An Honest but Brief Historical Reaction
It looks like the student standing in front of the class here had to make a presentation about colonialism in South Asia, which is actually where her family is fun. That's why her dad's quote even made it to the opening slide for the day. She basically went from just a couple of words to a complete essay once she got to the second slide, yet somehow managed to master that entire presentation.
This student had some fun with the word "brief," and just with her entire presentation in general, we also kind of love dad's quick cameo on this very first slide.
A Presentation on Four Years of Change
She was supposed to make a presentation on the changes she went through within the last four years, but this ended up being more about the changes she didn't go through. Although we do love the honesty, and you probably do too. Granted, most high school students aren't fans of themselves, and the fact that she was talking about this in front of a room filled with friends definitely made it fun.
This student really stood in front of her entire class with a ton of confidence, proving she's basically at peace with her lack of evolution over the last four years.
This Speech Was About the Existence of Giraffes
It would be great to find out what came after this first slide, but it looks like we'll never know. We'd also love to hear how and why this guy chose this specific topic, though this presentation was definitely the best one of the day. Just like us, there's no doubt that you're wishing you were able to attend this lecture at some point just to listen to whatever this curious student had to say.
If this first slide made you a little bit skeptical, we're here to tell you that there's no need to worry because we can confirm that giraffes really do exist.
A Geology Presentation Featuring the Rock
Although this Geology class might be serious in terms of its lectures, one of the students taking it proudly threw The Rock into his presentation about rocks. He also threw in a bunch of different angles of the actor just to represent the actual changing formations of real-life geology. Somehow, things still manage to flow pretty smoothly in this presentation about the pre-excavation of a place called the Bingham district.
Somehow, the actor version of the Rock's transformation perfectly fits in with this exciting presentation about a geology excavation, so much so, that we can hardly notice something's off here.
They Were Note-Taking When This Slide Popped up
Psychology classes aren't easy, and taking one without accidentally diagnosing yourself is hard. The students in this class quietly took notes about their lecture when this slide popped up, and they surely wanted to write this fact down too. The parrot meme was added for effect, yet somehow, the parrot fits well with the entire vibe of this part of the presentation. These students were expecting some psychology facts, and this is undoubtedly one of them.
It really is hard not to psycho-analyze yourself while sitting in a psychology class, and this professor just wanted to let everyone know that would naturally happen at some point.
This Was a Real-Life Recruiter's Presentation
A company was looking to hire a project manager, which is definitely needed, since whoever made this presentation certainly isn't an expert in project management. Someone actually joined this meeting, was interested in the job, and quickly decided that it wasn't for them after this same slide appeared on the screen. Job recruiters are generally supposed to make a position look desirable, but this one was more interested in word designing.
Either this job recruiter has terrible artistic skills when it comes to making presentations, or they just genuinely want any potential future employee to back out of the available position.
An Anthropology Final That's All About Memes
Memes might not have been the point of this assignment, but at least they actually have something to do with Anthropology. Our society has evolved into legitimate meme masters, so we can't really think of a reason why a couple shouldn't be applied to an anthropology final. If you didn't know that a bit of fine sarcasm could go a long way in a university class, you certainly do now.
The only thing that might have been fun in this Anthropology class could have been this presentation, and although it's all about memes, this presenter is guaranteed to get a good grade.
A Necrophysiology Professor Put This in His Presentation
Someone made this image to perfectly depict the path to madness as if it were as simple as a bike lane which means it's perfect for a Necrophysiology class. Both the professor who chose to put this in their presentation and the artist of this meme are simply comedic geniuses. Fortunately, there are no real-life psycho lanes for any criminals to walk down so that you can ride your bicycle in peace.
Making your students laugh as a Neurophysiology professor might be on your to-do list since it would be hard for them to laugh at any other topic in this class.
The Reason Why Everyone Laughed at This Presentation
The guest speaker just wanted to motivate the audience to be the best people they could be, but instead, they had them laughing off the charts. It wasn't intended, and the speaker probably had to take a minute to realize what they'd accidentally done. The spelling accident is hard to ignore in the greatest way possible. No matter how you look at this, it still has something to do with aiming high.
The goal of that line was to point towards aiming high, but it's easy to forget that the letter "A" actually plays a role when looking at the same sentence.
There's Nothing Better Than This Corporate Presentation
This presenter works in a corporate setting and started his presentation with some excellent advice everyone should follow. Not only is it applicable in basically every life setting, but this guy knows that the rule should also be maintained when working in an office. He seemed really proud to stand in front of his co-workers while sharing the number one work rule before getting into the rest of the presentation.
Some corporate representations can be super hard to pay attention to; that's why this particular employee wanted to start things off on a note that's all about grabbing everyone's attention.
This Thesis' Last Slide Is Nothing but Honest
Everyone knows that honesty is always the best policy, even for thesis presentations. The creator of this one kept that in mind as they got up to the part about his future studies. The student clarified that there wouldn't be any studying after this class ended, so they quickly reached the point when presenting the final slide. Although all the other ones were packed with information, this one was filled with truth.
He also asked for some luck before sharing this presentation, but there's no doubt that things went well, but all credit will have to go to the meme on the slide.
A Professor Who Understood the Assignment
To you, a pew study is nothing more than a fact tank, but to this professor, it was a perfect time to show off a very adorable kitten meme. It's easy to assume that all of the lessons start with a slide as good as this one, meaning this professor really just gets the student life. Classes might not always be interesting, but little things like this can make learning ten times better.
Not all professors will take the time to put a meme as adorable as this one into their presentation slides, but this one is just cooler than all the rest.
A Presentation That's Very Fit for College
Some students like to get in front of their class and present in a more reserved style because, sometimes, the less attention, the better. Others want to make the most of their time while ensuring that all eyes are on them for as long as possible. This slide did the trick when it came to attention-grabbing; in fact, it'll be hard for everyone to erase this specific image from their head.
Well, this specific presentation would not have gone down well in any other type of school outside of a university setting for reasons that are not too hard to understand.
An Apologetic Presenter With a Potato Offering
This presentation went on for a little longer than expected, which is why he shared an image of a potato as an apology so that nobody would start complaining. Although the audience would have been much happier with real-life french fries, or something like that, it's likely that all was forgiven. Even though potatoes don't really have anything to do with forgiveness, it's safe to say that it's the thought that counts.
He shared an image of a potato as an apology for having such a long presentation, and although we don't see how a potato can fix it all, at least he tried.
When a Flappy Guy Gave a Research Presentation
There's no doubt this was the best presentation in the whole class because a flappy guy made a guest appearance. The pink man usually works outside of car dealerships, but it turns out that flappy guys also often give research presentations- well, at least this one does. Whether outside a car dealership or inside a classroom, this costume is guaranteed to make every situation ten times better than it ever could have been.
This guy didn't have time to actually change out of his pink work outfit before his research presentation, so he just continued to stay in character throughout the whole thing.
A Presentation That Made Everyone's Day
It was this student's turn to start presenting, but he had to sort through his files to find them quickly. That meant that every single one of those funny names was visible to the rest of the students watching, and it basically made their day. Even though those titles weren't precisely classroom etiquette, he had no interest in hiding them or at least searching through them discreetly, and you can't blame him.
Whether you're a student or work in an office, presentation day isn't always a time to look forward to. These uniquely labeled folders, though, made the room anything but tense.
This Student Definitely Deserved an A+
Most people wouldn't replace a work cited page with an image of Danny Devito, but that's what makes this student special. Although all the other students in the class were laughing, the teacher might not have been too happy since they didn't exactly get the best grade, but sometimes humor is better than success. This teacher certainly had quite a bit of extra fact-checking work to do following this presentation.
Some would say this student deserved a very good grade, while a school teacher might prefer a work cited page over a picture of Danny Devito, just for academic purposes.
One Third Grade Student's Presentation on Wolves
Someone's mom is a third-grade teacher, and one of her students had a presentation on wolves. That same teacher started to panic as soon as this slide popped up, and that's for a very good reason. Granted, a majority of the third graders probably didn't know what these two passionate wolves were up to, but just in case, they quickly switched to the next slide before things got awkward for everyone.
It seems like this third-grader got a little too passionate about her wolf presentation, or she was just too young to comprehend exactly what was going on in the picture.
A Simple but Passionate Class Presentation
The topic of choice for this presentation was appropriation, so she summarized the entire thing with a single slide and truly executed that perfectly. Since this one was so good, there's no doubt the rest was even better than the first slide. The class reaction was probably positive, to the point where this student might want to save this for future projects. She might even want to pick up a side job as a comedian at some point.
Some people stand in front of the class and talk about something they're not really into, while others just go full force and directly into whatever is on their mind.
Where Nobody Said Big Data One More Time
It's a good thing that we don't know anything about big data, and we're pretty happy about the fact that we weren't attending this class. This presenter was just pointing out that maybe it was time to put a stop to saying big data since there was seemingly no end to those two words. That's where this borderline threatening yet very amusing meme came in handy, and it apparently worked.
The chances of anyone saying big data just one more time after this picture popped up were slim to none, and we never thought that a meme could be threatening.
